1) I applied masking tape to the bottom of the y-shaped stick to serve as a handle.
2) I cut the 4 rubber bands in half.
3) I tied two of the rubber bands together.
4) I tied the other two other rubber bands together.
5) I tied the ends of the rubber bands onto the y-shaped stick.
6) I secured the knots with masking tape.
7) I cut a small rectangle in the jean fabric.
8) I cut two slits on each side of the fabric.
9) I put the ends of the rubber bands through the slits in the fabric and I tied them together.

This is what I ended up with.
Slinging the Items
1) I went out to the backyard.
2) I raised the homemade slingshot and aimed straight foward.
3) I loaded the crumpled up piece of paper and slung it.
4) I measured (with my own feet) how far it went.
5) I put down the homemade slingshot, raised the store bought slingshot, and aimed it straight foward.
6) I loaded the other crumpled up piece of paper and slung it.
7) I measured(with my own feet) how far it went.
8) I repeated this process two more times exept with the rocks and the black balls.
